“MAGIC 95 LOTTA LISTENING – LOTTO WINNING MAGIC BAG JACKPOT”
This is an on air contest broadcast four times daily, Monday through Friday, starting Monday October 3, 2006 and concluding Friday November 10, 2006.
Contestants are asked to listen for the announcement that the contest call is going out and the phone lines will be opened. The contest call consists of three short stanzas from three recognizable R&B favorites played as “snippets” and in reverse play. The first caller is taken each time the contest plays. The caller is asked to correctly identify the three songs that were played and in the proper order of play. A correct response wins the caller five instant win scratch off tickets from current games in play as issued by the, Georgia Lottery. An incorrect response places those five instant win tickets into a “Magic Bag” jackpot. The next time the game is played, five more tickets are added to the jackpot for a total of ten instant win tickets. The jackpot continues to grow in increments of five instant win tickets until a caller correctly identifies the three songs that were just played in short snippets and played in reverse. At this point the jackpot resets at five instant win tickets and the play proceeds. Twenty instant win tickets are added to the jackpot or potentially won, each day, Monday through Friday. The cash value of each instant win ticket is one U.S. dollar. The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of listeners participating in the contest on any contest day and at any contest hour. Contest participants must be at least eighteen years of age. WGOV AM and Rivers Radio Group employees their families and friends are not eligible to participate. WGOV AM has secured the permission of the, Georgia Lottery, for the use of the instant win scratch off tickets for this on air contest. No purchase is required to enter.
